American manufactures have come a long way Shawn. *I'll caveat by saying who knows how the current economic melt down will change things. The new Malibu is a well thought out, well engineered, comfortable car. It doesn't drive or feel cheap at all. I hear good things about the Ford Focus too. I have also driven Toyota's and was very satisfied, but that damn Camry is just too bland. No character to it at all IMO. Same goes for the Accord.

My next car might well be the new Charger or Mustang. I should be well into my midlife crisis by then so can justify it! :D

I tried, but couldn't get into this series... Maybe because I'm too old school and remember watching the original series as a teen.

Oh yeah, I watched the original series too. This one is better. Much better.

Though my 11 year old mind did appreciate the 70's show at the time.

Yeah, last year I bought the complete original series on DVD's. I was all pumped up when we had a family tv night so we could all sit down and watch it together.

Long story short; a half an hour later, I was watching it by myself. The kids weren't too impressed with the special effects to say the least.

No way! What kid didn't want a daggit?!
I don't remember ever seeing any Battlestar Galactica toys back then, but my dad put together a Viper model for me to play with. :happy102
(I know the toys exist, btw... I just don't remember having any)

I do remember that it was kinda strange seeing him in a 70's style haircut. Just looked so out of place!

The Viper... Now that was a ship! Hit the Turbo button!

I really like him, he is terribly shy though. Every time move or pick something up he hides in his plant. I'm really glad I got the plant, it was a last moment decision. Also you can kind of see my two snails, they don't have names yet... if anyone would like to take a stab at it feel free.

Buster the rock is very nice. The fish is prettier. Snail names. ummm Slime and Slimey?? I have a Turtle. His name is Turtlelot. I didn't name his rock. I used the last good name I had on my ferret.

I like your tank, we haven't had a beta in a few years but we do have a 40g freshwater tank.
