I keep battery tenders on both cars. The battery in the Chevelle is at least six years old. It's time for a new one.

The back straight on the track I was on was the fastest with speeds approaching 150mph but also the most relaxed. With only one upshift to do it gave me time to relax my grip on the wheel and reposition myself in the seat before heading back into the twisties.

God is always in control. We may not like the way he does things, but we need to believe He takes the best route. I sometimes still have a hard time with it, but I know He watches over me and keeps me safe. Psalm 91 is one of my favorites.

I believe in the future the Corvette C6 will be revered as the best Corvettes produced. They have the Corvette DNA in their styling and the performance is top notch. The Z06 even more so.

Gumbo oh Danny....
Love it, can't eat it due to issues with wheat and that's the only way to make good roux. Well, that and an iron skillet.
If you haven't had good southern gumbo, your neglecting your education.
Still have a jar of Filé Powder, probably never use it.
Bummer.
