Great shave, Joseph! Although it has been a rare occurence , I have had burnt toast sounds while shaving with less than stellar results. The first time it happened, I was surprised. It's part of the journey.
Yes, the blackout happened at 6:47pm and it was on the west side of Manhatten (NYC proper). It affected 73,000 people and power was fully restored at midnight. There was a power substation explosion that caused the blackout. I am 60 miles east of the area so Long Island was not affected. Ironically, this blackout happened on the same day of the NYC blackout in 1977.
Thank you Gary, I would have to say it’s my best shaver. The gold edge takes an extremely sharp smooth edge.
Had a little time this afternoon to polish the 400 handle. Ended up wet sanding with 1200 grit sandpaper followed up with white polishing compound stick on a cotton wheel. Still has a few imperfection but with the casting in this handle it may have flaws all the way through it. I think I am going to stop at this point. Now to work on the ferrule.
Thanks Gary tp Thanks Patrick Sp far so good! tp Thanks Danny Got some extra, believe me it's good. It's like shaving the face, only higher. Blood, well it happens. tp Thanks Clint tp Thanks Joe I normally do fine, with a sharp blade. But even then, it happens. We do what we can, with work, kids and the unexpected, time is at a premium. tp Thanks everyone! Enjoy tp
