I'd never given one thought to restoring old brushes, but after seeing some of the magic worked here I may have a new AD.
As soon as I found out you can get badger knots for ~$20ish and old brushes on the cheap, it was a natural idea for me. Let's see... ~$170 for a Simpson Chubby #2 or... $18 badger knot & 6 dollar brush handle, plus epoxy and labor... Wow... I guess once in a while math really DOES work for me!

I already have my eye on one on eBay right now... just waiting for it to get closer to the end. I scored a nice little Klenzo (pic in The Haul thread) that I'm going to need to bore out and measure to see what size knot it needs. It might be small enough to need an 18mm.

Jim, Amen about those Krona's. I have a few that I am going to list along with ALOT of other crap sometime this week. I am waiting for my daughter in law to get a chance to come over and take a bunch of pictures though. I believe I picked out something like 30 razors that I am going to sell, along with a bunch of other shaving related stuff (brushes, barber items, ect....) If any of you guys want dibs on anything, let me know.
