I think when it comes to the very "peaty" Scotch Whiskeys", one cannot be afraid to "cut them" with a teaspoon of good water. (give or take).

Knowing what doesn't work so well is good information, too. I all but quit reading monthly SOTD threads because they don't offer the learned lessons we share here in The 30 DC.

 

No problems here Joe. Barry came through here like any other Summer time tropical depression. It rained. The wind blew. No trees down or roofs damaged. I doubt Jim @Norcalnewb (30-50 miles west of me) even felt any effects. Fuzzy @wchnu was on the business side of the counterclockwise system.

Humm, I might try that method. When I jump in 100+ posts behind and start quoting posts I don't wait until I'm caught up. Either I'd forget what I was going to say in reply, someone else would have beat me to the question/remark/scathing meme retort/etc., or I'd have a huge Shavette Fu type Wall 'O Text.

Same Gary. My pre Wet Shave beard reductions were to make others happy. Now I shave to please myself. With all this technique improvement I really don't feel the need for every day shaves.

That is true. Have a desk mounted light with magnifying glass that I use on the gun smithing bench. That will drive you insane.
