I’m a huge fan of Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner after soaking and lathering with dawn.
Tea Tree has some good properties, such as anti-fungal.

I have tea tree body soap but not shampoo or conditioner. But maybe I can add some oil to other conditioner?

Sally's Beauty Supply has the pair for less than the shampoo or conditioner alone. I use it when I come in from the woods(ticks and chiggers don't like it), or when I just what that menthol-like tingle. I have only used a couple of old brushes, but the ones that I did were really old and I wanted to see what it would have been like way-back-when.
The conditioner is great with boar brushes.

Didn't buy anything but I stumbled across one of those remaindered item shops where literally anything can show up. There were about 20 Van Der Hagen short and long TTOs for 6 bucks each, some unscented Cremo and Every Man Jack creams for $3, a few Pinaud maintenance items like beard balm and such, and some Pacific Shaving Company instant shaving cream pods. Nothing I needed but fun to come across stuff like that when you're not looking.
