Hi All,

Just popping in to say hey... Chatty crowd this morning. I'm heading to the PO, then back here to grab an afternoon shave. Just ordered some soap and cream samples and some blades from the TSD store (big day for me!). Heading to the mall later today and may stop in at Bath and Body Works. Anything I should check out while I'm there?

 

I think B&BW is the place that carries the Bigelow line. Check out the shave cream (same as Proraso) if you haven't yet, also if you like bay rum the Bigelow Bay Rum splash is supposed to be nice. I think it's one of Dr. Mike's favs for Bay Rum...

 

there are all my players. Sup to all of you.

 

I'm hoping they'll have a bay rum splash. They've only got a little corner of guy stuff (I'm going to the big city of Moscow, ID to shop), but still, it should be fun.

I got a sample of Noxzema cream in today....can't wait to try it out...

 

you will like the noxzema Matt. Scent is meh but the cream is bountiful.

 

It smells just like the face wash. Funny, I was expecting something a little bit different....It's a big sample, too....

Another thing about the BSG finale I don't quite get, and then I'll leave it alone. They spent 2 years making a big deal about the little girl. In the end we learn her significance is her bones were found 150k yrs. later??? Ok. But there were 38k other people that came with her plus whatever tribal humans were wandering around at the time. Soooooo.....civilization would have happened with or without the girl. 'Splain to me why she was so important pls.

Ok, I'll move on. Did I mention vacation starts tomorrow. D:love055 We're not even going anywhere. Just gonna take a week and chill. Putz around the house, play w/ the baby, stay up late and sleep in. Sounds about right.

Nada, nada Matt. Just pullin' my last shift for a spell. Haven't tried the adjustable yet. I may give it a go tomorrow. Take a break from the OC's for a day or two. So I see when you turn the dial those little plates rise up inside the razor. That would then push the blade upwards I take it. Does it push the blade outward too? How does pushing the blade up make it more aggressive?

 

Hey Shep. Had my days off. Watching BSG right now. Yawn so far.

 

The gap between the blade and safety bar is increased. Try it with a blade in it, just remember to open the barn doors before each change...

Aylo everyone.. it looks the the chattiness has continued.

Still haven't watched BSG finale, there is non sense in trying until daughter is in bed and by then wife will have basketball on. Maybe if I get up really early tomorrow I can get it in.

Keep in mind that I haven't watched the finale; however, is it possible that she has already plaid her role and is just a symbolic person now.

 

So before I turn the adjustable dial I need to open the silo doors? I wouldn't have thought to do that. Is it important?

 

Only in one direction. But rather than have to pause and think about if you are raising the base or lowering it, it is just easier to open the silo doors. Otherwise, it puts strain on the mechanism which could cause mechanical failures.

I don't know how likely those failures are. I know I have worked on a lot of slims and fatboys that were mechanically frozen and it took a bit of work to free them.

 

yep, open the silo and adjust away. took a good chunk out of my chin yesterday. the divot is missing.
