Very interesting indeed, Andrew. Yes, it does defy modern thin-bladed DE design logic. The other thing that is interesting is the parallel grooving on the bar- didn't that only come into production on the E3 and later?
EMP? Had to look that one up. A smokier, more pineapply Executive Man? Closer to the Creed original, I wonder.

Central Texas Soaps has some new bath soaps out. I might add one to the package purchase I will be doing next month.

And now I found the CTS thread itself, therefore I put same message there, too. The difference? Unlike here, I didn't use it as an excuse to talk about myself, lol. Need to make a correction-they are BAR soaps, not bath.

Yes, I suppose.....I'd be using it just for hand-washing.

Thanks Patrick! If a review suggests a razor is mild I might not seek it out. I'm glad the double open comb caught my eye. It sure feels mild, but it's effective.
Thanks Terry! Though I'm not a Founder, I think I've reached Veteran status here in 30DC Land. The idea of a Focus still works during those months with a specific theme. Until I find something else needing improvement I'm enjoying the plateau.
Thanks Danny! I don't think this handle counts as light being solid & stainless. A little slim but well knurled and I'm enjoying the length.

Thanks Andrew! I credit John @John Ruschmeyer for being the owner before me. I'll see if I can get him to tell why he passed it on. I have seen him on the forefront of interesting R.O.C razors the same way you are with Yaqi brushes. I think it was he & I got in on the Merkur Futur clones which I'd recommend for curious folks.

    Speaking of interesting razors...!
Kind of wish Schick would have followed through on this design. It's sort of SE style, but uses the more readily available DE blades. I wonder what our in house Mad Scientist / Prototype builder Tom @twhite would think of Andrew's @Linuxguile "Igor"-ish oddity; The Schick Type D Prototype.

Glad you are enjoying it Danny! You are enjoying it? There's more on the way, too. I've had quite a bit more rain since the storm passed than while it was News Item #1 on The Weather Channel. About ready to turn of Emergency Alerts from the cellphone.

No. Never, or at least not yet strictly speaking for coffee. And neither did my 94 year old grandmother who drank coffee continuously save for the 7-8 hours she was sleeping. Trying to live up to that standard!

    Thank you Jim!

[ QUOTE="Trigger, post: 1621797, member: 20935"]Blair, nice shave and pic! I like Proraso SS and AS very much. I was going to use Stirling Bay Rum, but you reminded me that it is Menthol Monday, Thanks![/QUOTE]

Thanks Joe. Great job on the razor honing!

    Thank you Patrick!

Thanks Clint! Saw the note about the trip..it'll be some super fun!

Thank you Mark....yeah, chatterboxes everywhere. Today, another 180 posts behind.

:signs011: Thank you Danny. Hadn't caught up what happened with your Dad. Hope things turn out better soon!

Thank you Terry! Yeah, the thread is like a freight train....just keeps chugging along!

    Thank you Andrew. Sincerely appreciated.

Thanks Jason. Kind of the same here....not a menthol head, every now and then OK. I may try some of the PAA product CHEL, which is their version of a cooling effect without the menthol smell. Can add it to any product.

I liken the menthol craze to something similar here in Texas....Tex Mex burning hot sauce craze. Hot sauce where there is only a burn (no taste). Burned lips/tongue/throat, take your breath away, make you sweat with eyes watering. I don't get this.....being from South Louisiana where we eat some pretty spicy things (and a few that make billy goats puke), but heat and/or spice without taste and only a burn sensation is, um, not necessary and counter productive....that kills any taste thereafter for hours anyway. Doesn't compute. Cajun dishes have a very specific ratio of spices that get you to the edge of 'wow, that's really spicy', but there's still an aroma and taste to be had (if that makes sense).

The M bomb, which you have probably seen on here a lot as it used to be available in TSD store, is also a great additive which is precisely controllable.
