Of the CF samples, Lavender was the only one that I could appreciate. Even then, performance doesn't match the high price.

I've been busy lately. Couple that with having to assist the girlfriend playing host for some of her friends from out of town and Dom has no free time. Home alone tonight. For now, at least.

 

I completely agree. Mediocre performance at a premium price? I'll pass, thank you very much.

I'm going to buck conventional wisdom. I'm buying stock in the financial sector. These baskets are trading at ridiculously low numbers. My buy order is in. I'll either be a rich(er) genius in 10 years or a mutt for thinking I knew better.

If it's the former I'll take you all out for a steak dinner. The latter? Well give me some change when you see me on the freeway exit ramp. :taunt002

 

Visiting my Mom today and we get a call that the our farmland that our pond is on was on fire. Coming to our machine shed. We hurry out, by the time we get there the fire fighters have it out, but it spread very fast, and could have been really bad. As is, the land just got some nice fertilizer. Firefighters saved the day. Neighbors burning the cardboard were the cause.
The dark area in the picture is the burned area, I took the picture from the machine shed.

 

Why do I need Red IPs if stacks of NOS Platinum-Plus keep dropping into my lap?

 

Just got home from eating out. Red Robin followed by Cold Stone. I guess we are planning on rolling down Michigan avenue tomorrow instead of walking.

Looked at wife's computer and there was a big spoiler for the BSG finale on the Boston Terrier forum she was on. Ugh.... I am going to have to watch that tonight.

 

Those fires can spread pretty quick. I am glad the firefighters contained it quick. Good news is that the grass will grow back bigger and better.

 

Amazing how much nicer the world feels after a shower, shave, and good dinner.

..oh yeah, and margaritas..

Red Robin.. MMmmm. Had that for lunch Wednesday. Did you try the new Burning Love Burger? That thing is great.

 

Rodd, glad it turned out all right and no loss of property or life. Fires get out of hand fast.

I haven't tried that one yet. Unfortunately Red Robin's are all quite a drive for me. I think it was my 3rd or 4th time. Now I do like the Royal Burger with the egg on top.
