1. Yes, sir, it was the same as the day before. :) I'm using it again tomorrow.

  3. Third day using the M. Jung made in Germany. Last night I did a series of chromium oxide on suede followed by diamond pasted balsa. Part of my shaving process is to hand strop between passes. Perhaps this clears the edge of hair and lather to make the edge perform better. I will say that it is now possible for me to get as quality of a shave as with a manufactured blade although it takes longer.

13/16 Cape 500 Swedish Steel, cream was SMN lathered with a Simpsons 58, and a splash of Agua Balsamica topped off a great shave.

Shave #16 on the blue Filly Sub Cero, absolutely no change in the edge from freshly honed, yet. It’s looking like the cryo steel is holding up at least some better, a lot of times I can tell a little difference after a dozen shaves. Soap was the magnificent ABC hard soap lathered with a Keyhole 4, and a little ABC almond balm finished things up for a dolphin smooth shave.

I think this Ark edge might be a winner. :)

  10. My newest Napoleon made short work of 3 days of stubble leaving behind nothing but face rubbing goodness. That little bit of a smile makes easy work of some of the more difficult to shave spots. It makes me wonder why there aren’t more smiling blades out there. :happy036:

  11. Nice shave. I like the unique jimping on that razor. Bet it maneuvers well.

    Brush ain't shabby either!
  12. P. Fritisse is my favorite French maker.Awesome French steel in my book.Enjoy.
  13. Thanks Mike. Only two shaves but I am impressed. Has a heavy grind, about 1/2 hollow, and makes for a solid feel. I can see why it holds a high place in your arsenal.
  14. :thanks: Those heavy jimps remind me of an alligator for some reason. I guess I’ve been in Florida too long. :happy102:

Saponifico Varasenio for myself personally is without a doubt some of if not the finest shaving products made today, the performance and quality of Saponifico Varasenio are amazing, I could quite easily use SV every shave.
