Enjoyable two-pass daily shaves continue with this set up. I tried Third Pass Shaving Co. Red Line for the first time this morning compliments of @Douglas Carey. The Shavemac two-banded easily whipped up a copious amount of lather, and I detected a slight cinnamon note - not overpowering and very pleasant. The lather thinned out a bit for the second pass, but I added more soap and kept going. I may need a couple of days to dial this soap in, but overall it performs well. I'm working through a tuck of Rapira Super Stainless blades compliments of @NCoxSTL, and they always impress with plenty of sharpness and smoothness.

My Bride and I got our hair done at our favorite beauty shop yesterday. It's handily located near a Probation and Parole Center, and the beauty shop owner, realizing that Better Homes and Gardens is not for everyone, has provided some great reading material in the waiting area. I hope they get a spittoon at some point, but I can at least say I am hereby beautified. Something tells me that @Hembree would enjoy the down home atmosphere of this place as much as we do.

Have a great Wednesday. We're off to spend the afternoon with some precious kiddos.

Hmmmmm. Probation and Parole center with shooting mags nearby. I think you pronounce that state.....ken-TUCK-ee . Although, I wouldn't be surprised to see that same setup somewhere around here. All we need now is a moonshine peddler outside.

If you haven't tried a Proline in an Injector or Repeating Razor you are missing out. These blade are so incredibly shape and smooth that the stubble disappears without any sensation that it is being removed. Face is smooth and I'm smelling great due to the Stirling SDM line.

I'm about an hour and a half away from leaving work to go watch a minor league baseball game with my coworkers as a team building activity. Hope you all are having a good day!

My first rule was March of last year. I think I did sixteen shaves. I didn't have the required technique for daily shaves yet. I believe I did about the same in April with a different razor, soap and brush. Since then I've done focuses with a few of my razors. Thirty consecutive shaves with them. All the above really helped to improve my shaves.

The 30 day Rule is an exercise designed for NEW Wet Shavers who have limited equipment and need to develop their Technique. It helps them calm the Acquisition Disorders by coming to the realization that they can get a good shave with just about any equipment providing it's not broken or poor quality.

I'm going to assume you've got enough gear & have developed you preferences to the point you've plateaued and most shaves are irritation free. That's where a Focus happens. It's a looser exercise to test and compare products, either hardware or software. Still meant to improve your shaves, but by adding variables to evaluate differences.

Either way, let your hair down, pull up a comfortable chair, and share. When you give a SOTD if you are having an issue spill the beans. Good chance someone has met that challenge and can offer advice.

The 30DC (short for "Day Crew") first name basis - I'm Rick.
