    Thanks Perry!
Thanks Andrew. I plan to alternate between the Red Line and the C.O. Bigelow for awhile. More to come. :)

Thanks Danny. We had a special time today. It was bittersweet as a couple of our kiddos went home. Of course, we're always happy to see our kids go home, but it makes us a little bit sad that we won't see them again. We had been going to the hospital on Monday and Wednesday the last few weeks. Now we're back to Mondays only for awhile. We always leave feeling very thankful and with big smiles on our faces.

My beautician's bowl has inclusions, so I opted for the sassy cut.

Thanks Jim. We had a big day with the kids. I saw Moana for the 247th time, I believe. :)
    Thank you, Patrick!
Thanks Clint! It was a fantastic day! There's just something cool about spending time with kids.

I hope you decide to join us for a rule (same soap, brand of blade, & razor), a focus (on some particular aspect of your shave), or an unfocused focus. 30 shaves are suggested, but do what works for you. Blueming or Blooming is absolutely encouraged. :D

    Hey all...
My wife says I Always shave in the mornings and she doesn't get to enjoy the nice smooth skin. Well I told her that if I shave at night, I'm like the hairy woodsman by 8 or 9 in the morning.
I didn't see any reason! to shave tonight!! especially since! I shaved this morning!!!

The Nacets worked nice in the Monobit tonight. I only used one blade and ended up with a weeper on the head, I know better. Yea use another blade for the gord...I know. The Captain's Choice was fine after I got the lather formed. My little Pefecto brush did a good job of working up the lather. The after shave is nice too. 2 passes on the face and 2 passes on the gord and I am clean and smooth again. The wife is happy that I shaved tonight, wish me luck! ;) ;).

Hope this doesn't become a habit.
    Enjoy

Thank you Danny. I think I'm leaning towards near wedge/quarter hollow to half hollow ground straights working the best in my world. The weight and no blade flex works for my shaving 'style', whatever that is. The 3/4 and full hollow work ok, I just have to pay better attention. This being the realization/conclusion that is materializing.

Finally caught up to things here on the thread, but only barely. Hope things are moving in a better direction for your Dad. I've been caretaker for my parents since April 2017. Mom passed this year in early April, Dad still keeping me and wifey on our toes. Never a dull moment, as they say. He doesn't drive (other than a trike and an electric scooter). Lives in an independent facility (glorified elderly apt complex). Wifey and I visit every 2-3 days, home health nurses see him 2x daily and report back to us, etc. etc.

Praying for ya! Hang in there. Your sense of humor and fun here on TSD keeps me LOL'ing a LOT! :eatdrink047:

    Thank you Joe!

I'm still trying to figure where most everyone 'normally' posts from....so that makes sense.

Thank you for that! I'll keep that in mind for the No Buy July List.

Welcome aboard Jon! I started as a newbie wet shaver just this past January. Before that, years of multi bladed cart thingys. Lots of great advice, gorgeous images....with all sorts of cool hardware and software....as well as fun here.

Thanks Perry! Added to the No Buy July List (for August or sometime in the future :D).

Hopefully I caught all the direct quotes. If not, apologies....don't hold it against me.....it's just my scatter brain trying to keep up/reply to a couple dozen (plus) posters here in the 30DC. I can barely do that with the 3 women in the house.....

Thanks Rick! Soap Commander on the radar soon. Same for the 400 style brushes....a lot of options to mull through.

    Great shave as well Rick!
