  4. Good afternoon all, great day at the flea market for me. First things first though..

Tracy, that is great news! Congratulations to you and your wife. I am so very glad it worked out for you. I hope all goes well in the pregnancy and you have the little girl your wife is hoping for. To be honest, after our 2 boys were born I was done with kids, but my wife snuck the last one in on me because she still wanted a girl. As luck would have it, that is what we had and my daughter has become a daddy's girl. I am very thankful for her every day as I am my 2 boys.

I'm down in the Kankakee area, I have been to 2 Red Robins, one in the Aurora area and one in Schereville Indiana.

As for my flea market trip.. Score!

I picked up 2 flair tips for $4.00 each, a Slim Twist for $2.00, a Slim adjustable for $2.00, and finally a Schick Injector adjustable for $5.00.

Treated the family to Schoops burgers on the way home..
  5. Pretty good haul there, Bill!
  6. whoa, whoa, whoa there Missy. Whoa.

    that is all.
  7. Best use for Red IPs: Stick 'em into apples, peaches, and other fruits and mail them to Ray in a fruit basket. Fun will follow.

  14. Hello and happy Sunday kids.

@ Tracy: Congrats bro! That's great news. I love kids. Wish we had more running around here too.

@ Justin: After thinking a bit about the whole Hera (BSG) thing I did realize she passed on cylon DNA to everybody. I just kind of fail to see the significance because most of the human type cylons were killed and couldn't reproduce anyway. So she was it and after 150k years I think the cylon blood would be quite diluted. I do get it though, the remnants of cylon DNA would forever be in our genetic code. Ok. So what? It fits into the mythology of the show somehow, I just don't get it. I've been reading a few online forums and it seems opinions are split regarding the finale. Some think it was a cop out where all the shows mysteries were laid off on "that's what God wanted". They feel that was cheating and an easy out. Personally I thought the final battle scene was kick ass and made it a good ending.

@ Dustin/Bong: I have Newcastles in bottles in the fridge right now. Tastes ok to me, but I only have one every now and then. I never thought about this business of clear bottles being bad. Makes sense though. Of course these are kept in a dark fridge so I think it should be ok.

@ Matt: Shaved w/ the adjustable today using Irisch Moos and a third-day 7 black blade. Quite a nice shave. First of all I love those blades. They rock and they last. Thank God I found a blade for me. I set the razor to '5' and got a nice, close shave. Next time I'll try '6' and see how that does. Thanks for the loaner. I might have to jack you and keep it! :D

    @ everyone else: Hola.
  15. More luck at that same estate sale. Got there with about 30 seconds to go, after the 80% off mark, and picked up a Micromatic for $2.50. Pics will be in the Haul, but how can I tell it's vintage?
  16. Hello, Shepper.
  17. Hey Dom'er. Did you see my PM? Your and Tracy's packages will hit the mail manana.
  18. the hair is growing back fast Dom.
  19. You guys that constantly talk about estate sales/antique stores/etc. - how do you find out about the places to which you go?

I haven't found much in the way of good antique stores here in Boston.
  20. The one I went to was listed in the classified ads of my local paper all week.
