Thanks Terry! Across the miles we synchronized, oblivious to each other's choices. Worked for me, too. :)
Thanks Clint. I know how you feel about the Clubman, same for Tabac?
Thanks Joe! I've got a question - Is there a low/no carb pasta product you'd enjoy?
Thanks Jim! Glad you broke into the Vintage selections. There are some good ones to try.

Funny, Rick! Italians only eat high carb pasta! The garlic, olive oil and tomatoes block the adverse effects of pasta. ;)

This morning I grabbed the 1914 again. It went much, much better than last time. More like I remember it. Lather was Man in Black soap. Slickness is not quite tops, but it's pretty good. The scent is where it really shines. Unfortunately I don't have a matching aftershave. Yet. Maybe after NB19...

Foie Gras much? When turkeys hit the market here in the US, I put a couple in the freezer for unHoliday meals. Anytime is good for a big chicken. Not sure when it started, but I reserve the giblets for making a gravy. Small sauce pan gets the neck, heart, gizzard, & liver. Top off with water, a lid, and slow fire on the stove top. All the meat gets picked from the neck, the heart and gizzard get chopped up, and cornstarch added to the broth for a thickener. I like to float a couple hard boiled & sliced eggs on top for garnish.

Where does the liver go? Mashed up, add mayo, salt & black pepper. For those that enjoy it we eat it on saltines. It never lasts passed the day the turkey is cooked. It's my Poor Man's foie gras.

I don't recall ever trying the Real Thing. After reading THIS article I might seek it out.

God VPN should secure things up a bit.

When my younger daughter was at a delicate age I sought to gain oversight to her use of electronic devices to access the world. I found it unreasonable that her school offered a free Wi-Fi that was supposed to be filtered, yet apparently all a student had to do to gain unrestricted access was to use a simple freeware VPN.

I had a meeting with a group of administrators with the school to inquire why parents had to go through the "Get Smart" school entrances yet any predator could access impressionable young girls via the schools internet and social media.

It was then I found out that VPN software was originally created by the US Gubbament to combat censorship and surveillance around the world and there was little I could do to stop it.

Equally as astounding is the huge data 0 center that NSA (that's No Such Agency) runs in Utah.

I'm glad I got my offspring to adulthood when I did. Hate to have to do it now.

I do hope you wind up with more vacationing on your trip than remoting in.

Sometime you should try a roux gravy. Start with equal parts butter and flour roux. You can brown it up a little for flavor then let it down with drippings stock, broth. Throw the giblets in. Chicken bouillon for a flavor boost. Dry parsley for a unique color garnish.

Some of those in the easterly parts object. Paul's tendencies for 'no buys' could present a conflict of interest.
