All my books have definitely been colored in, Rick. One of my profs lent an engineering text book to a friend, and he warned him, "don't mind the notes in the book. I was a brash young man." Same here, but I've mellowed a bit since then. :)

We had some cool chemical engineering professors. On Fridays, after a test, or on any day of the week containing a vowel, several of them would join us for a $2 pitcher of beer at Lugo's Pizza...conveniently located behind the the engineering school. Some really great teachers and good guys that cared about their students. I still try to keep in touch with a couple of these gents...dear old friends, for sure.

I only remember upsetting two of my professors, although my memory is not great. Several of us got to school early one morning, slid a Pepsi machine down the hall, and blocked a prof's office door with it. He wasn't happy when he arrived, but then again, he was a wild-eyed Canuck. I'm surprised we never caught any grief for the skid marks we left on the tile floor. Another time a buddy and I climbed in a window of the locked chemical engineering building on a Sunday. A professor showed up and threatened to have us arrested by the campus cowboys if we didn't leave immediately. When we became grad students, we got keys to the building, and we had offices. I haven't felt the need to break and enter since that time.

There was the time when we moved a fellow grad student's entire office into the building elevator. He showed up and found his relocated office. Without asking who was responsible, he promptly trashed my office. It was my idea, but I had help, of course.

Come to think of it, I didn't have time to color in my books. I was too busy with important stuff. :)
