Sunday morning: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Gillette day 7 Top Ten Sensitive SC Prep ASB Alt Innsbruck AS Splash Despite the Gillette blade being pretty well at the end I still managed to get a fantastic BBS shave, albeit with a lot of touching up. This Top Ten Sensitive is a lovely cream - what a scent, it’s a pleasure to lather up, and it’s surprisingly more cooling than the Menthol version. It’s got such a soothing postshave feeling as well so it’s perfect for anyone who has sensitive skin. Talking about soothing, the Prep is unbeatable in that department and the Alt Innsbruck is one of my favorite aftershaves - a pity Madame doesn’t share my opinion on it. (I still love you, baby!) Looking forward to a lovely shower and shave after getting all the chores done. It has been stinky hot and today was cooler but still hot. Love the slow simmer of Summer though so can’t complain too much. The iKon Deluxe OC was sitting in the stand and readily at hand and so it was christened King of the Shave. Loaded up with a Personna Lab Blue and ready to go. Soap of the day CBL Ghost Pineapple so very good and even Mrs. Somnos was thoroughly impressed with the scent. Performance is phenomenal and remember to load a little to shave a lot. I have and do recommend CBL Soaps to anyone looking for a premium tallow based soap and no, he owes me nothing however, I owe him a debt of gratitude for not only being a true artisan but a stand up guy. Keeping cranking them out Chris! Lathered up a storm and proceeded to get through a lovely two pass DFS! The menthol in this soap is a nice touch. Finished up with some Stirling Weekend in Malibu AS and a quick spritz of English Laundry Tahitian Waters EDP. Perfect! I hope you are enjoying your Sunday.
