    I believe the problem last time may have been not enough product. The wet boar maybe has trouble picking up enough soap. This time I loaded longer with an almost completely dry brush. Found cushion, slickness & residual slickness to all be excellent this time.

    Tons of lather left after 2.5 passes

    WSP Sandalwood is first and foremost sandalwood. Very woody. I don't get that from the Santal Absolut. They don't match but I think they compliment one another nicely.

    I've decided to give up trying to "out-review" @Primotenore , therefore I'm trying a different tack. It was nice to see a fair to good amount of likes in my Musings For The Day post. This encourages me to do a weekly musings commentary(don't have a title just yet, but you'll see it). I'll do it on Fridays, in this thread. Nothing fancy, just "stuff" relative to shaving, Some Fridays I may have a lot to say, other Fridays not as much-all depends on where my shaving thoughts take me. Come along for the ride!!

    good morning fello shavers,sunday morning shave..brought out the brit flat bottom new,loade a gillette platinum blade,the made rite 62 badger brush made a magnificent murphy and mcneil lather in the crystal bowl,proceeded to get a fantastically smooth dfs++ with 2 combination passes and minor pick ups.fine platinum to finish ..an awesome shave indeed..have a fine sunday gents.. 20190721_090914 (2).jpg
