Thanks...this was a town about 10-15 miles from me, they have 3 huge malls there. It's pretty cool because they're not really mall-like, they're in old downtown large brick buildings. I almost picked up a Rolls with a broken hone for $12 just for the handle, (the one I picked up for $14 a few weeks ago didn't have the handle! - d'oh!) but then I figured $12 was too much for a handle and what would I do with the rest? I may go back, though...I actually left a lot of stuff behind, mainly because I didn't want to come back with like 12 brushes, 30 straights, etc.... some of the prices were all over the place, too...:D there was a pretty cool Tech with a black handle, that was....I don't know how to describe it...ribbed? but like big round ribs running the length of the handle... I probably should have picked that up, too, it was reasonably priced...

Yup. No Osage Rub at Sally's. I purchased mine from Ry's Barber Supplies.

Yeah that is a good idea. We don't have those because the monk and I are the only magic ones in the group and being a druid in iron kingdoms I'm not suppose to be playing with my magic too much or I'll get arrested.

Just a thought...but since you're a druid, shouldn't you not have an axe as a weapon?

    Intentional double negative?

If you are saying she should have an axe... well then I guess that depends on the size of the axe. If she is playing in a realm where magic and druids are frowned upon, an axe is a handy weapon. She looks less like a magician/druid that way. Mia is scrappy and an axe would suit her. It can block hits, and clean hit is deadly and a glancing blow can break a bone or at least slow down an enemy.

See Dragonheart for cleaving a man's skull like a pudding reference...

Bingo, she is also a physically strong druid. Her strong point is 16 strength so her axe does 2 D8 + 6 damage per swing. She has just enough int/wisdom for her spells to work. Since druids are frowned upon who is going to suspect the girl with the axe as big as she is to be a druid. The only thing that gives her away is buttons who is her 5 foot tall barn owl familiar.

the knot is (k)not glued in yet, but here's the idea
couple more finishing coats, epoxy the knot in, and it's whisker-whackin' time!
(it's times like these I wish we had a better digital camera...)

It sounded good in my head...what I was is that I thought druids weren't supposed to use certain weapons, one of which was an axe.

Keep in mind, I know next to nothing about D&D and have no clue as to the specifics of her character or campaign.

So is she like a multi-class, or just beefy? That's a huge bird, who needs horse when you can fly.

that's a nice offer, but there's someone with a large owl that might have a problem with that...:rofl

actually, I'm planning on having Micah take some shots before it goes about it's journey. He's a semi-professional amateur rookie veteran photographer...[IMG][IMG]

Very nice.. was it supposed to look like a big pink heart?

Seriously, it looks like it was very well done. I am sure Jen will enjoy the brush.

Awesome brush, Jim. We're all very fortunate to have the opportunity to drool over it while the druid lady is out and about...
