Nice set-up Tim. I really wanted to like the WSP Gaelic Tweed, but found it too strong (!). IMO, Mystic Water's Irish Traveler is a better option.

And it was, and continues to be a revelation to use. Sure, the stuff is cheap as chips and doesnt look much, but wow, its always an utter joy to use. The Derby cream smells great and is every bit as good, if not better, than any other cream i have. The brush is great as well. The razor is a mystery to me as to why it works so well for me. I could shave for days with it. No irritation today. No A/S burn. Just a lovely BBSish shave this morning. Great stuff.
Tabac Tuesday's Shave Cold Water Rinse Tabac Shaving Soap The Brush by Tom Gillette Techmatic Techmatic Adjustable CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shaving Soap face lathered well with The Brush by Tom. I did two passes with the Gillette Techmatic razor with a Techmatic Adjustable razor band and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Tuesday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bergamot Lavender Soap: Stirling Gentleman Razor: Gillette Slim Blade: Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus (13) Brush: John’s Brushes Silvertip-22mmx48mm Aftershave: Stirling Gentleman w/Menthol WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) Stirling Gentleman today. 20 seconds to load the John’s Brushes Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette Platinum Plus still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Stirling Gentleman aftershave. Bob
Tuesday morning - a blue shave: Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster Super Speed/Wilkinson day 2 Bielita SC Prep ASB Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS Splash Bleu de Chanel EdP Smooth as smooth could possibly be - these Wilkinson blades are fantastic. They’re very sharp, smooth, as well as pretty good in the longevity department. This Bielita cream from Belarus smells so nice, it lathers like crazy, and it has a good menthol sensation which becomes really apparent during the second pass, and it’s also very skin friendly. The Prep and Aqua Velva gave me such great postshave care. All it took were two passes to accomplish my BBS mission!
