Well, now that I have a modest sized rotation of soaps, it may be awhile before I finish a puck.

Is it me? Did you ever get the feeling that you can't wait to shave again, but wish your beard would grow faster so that you can? Ok, now that I picked the lint off my navel, it's back to more important things. Lol!

I like the Dovo red - black, I use it when I need more than CrOx. The red is more aggressive and the black is the same grit as CrOx.

Gave the boar another shot... went better, but still struggled on the 2nd pass. It doesn't seem to play well with this soap. I probably will just stick with a synth until this puck is gone

Just catching up on the posts since late last week. Too much work.

We have a solid team of 25-30 parents every week, and then an extra 10-15 that rotate in based on their schedule. So, 35-45 parents every week 'moving the band'. Our school just made it into 6A division (even though we are a Title 1 school), but competing against almost every non Title 1 school in the DFW area. Even with all that....we take to every game: an 18 wheeler with instruments, 2 Ryder Box (rented) trucks, and a 22 foot enclosed trailer. Last year I was 'communications coordinator'. 3-4 hours per week of time, plus the time if I was able to make it to games. This year....website and 'band swag' shopping cart admin. Gotta support the kiddos!

    July 23rd

    Proraso PS Red
    CF Lime Essential Oil SC
    Zenith Boar
    ABCo straight
    Pinaud Citrus Musk EdC

3 pass DFS shave today. Just getting back into posting since late last week. Reading a lot, but little time for posting (I type too slow on a phone....and that's my usual reading method). Of course there's shaves every day, just a smattering of choices that I've done previously. Used the ShaveSmith Buster Kami, an addition from the Father's Day raffle, a Merkur Progress Adjustable, the Puma straight and forgot the other straights used.

No drama to report today (yippee!). Just a solid 3 pass (over loaded the Zenith with SC). Too much lather fun this morning. Lime scent from the CF and Zenith filled the room, and the ABCo straight was all business swiping away 24 hours of growth and incredible Castle Forbes slickery goodness. The ABCo is turning into one of my favorite straights, smooth shaving, predictable handling with zero skipping or tugging. Always sees before/after strop time with CrOx, linen and leather.

4 hours after the shave....still a great CF face feel, and small whiffs of the Pinaud (from over application most likely, but hey....the dogs never complain:rofl:).

Hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday!

Very nice elegant scent, great ingredients list, and the right amount of cooling without the tingle/irritation that menthol can give.

I actually wish it didn't have the cooling agent so I could wear it year round though.

I could expand a bit - The fragrance is at it's core bergamot and wood, with the eucalyptus just adding a touch of freshness on top & the vetiver just adding a touch of earthiness at the base. It's a pretty safe scent that I would almost describe as barbershop. Somewhat old fashioned cologne-like

Fantastic shave Rick! I've been curious about the Proraso green AS. Glad you are enjoying it.
Sounds like a great shave Joe!
That is a beautiful Deluxe set Mark!
Yes indeed the Dart had it going on! Great shave and cool photos of the bar!
    Very nice Terry!
    Beautiful setup Jim!
I read somewhere that the boots shave stick was discontinued, I'd love to find a source to get my hands on some.
Great shave Danny! I hope all goes well well today
Fantastic shave and photo Clint! I'm curious about how much of the aftershave you have left now that the soap is gone.
Beautiful for Joseph! Nice BBS, glad you are smelling great too!
I think we've all fresh that way. Especially when we take delivery of something new that we want to try out.
    Nice shave Colin!

Thank you Andrew. I have over half a bottle of the aftershave left. This happens to me all the time when I buy an artisan soap and aftershave combo.
