Nine shaves left in July and to start the next set of three I moved over to the Gillette New SC Deluxe. It may be haunted but it's a friendly ghost in its new gold coating and always performs like a champ. I paired it with the Rapira Super Stainless blade. The cheapest of the Rapira line but works just as good as any of them. Maybe better than some. It's Tabac Tuesday!! So, of course that's where I went and brought along the inexpensive but really luxurious and nice Stirling Finest Badger. Lather was awesome, shave was 3 passes and fantastic with a BBS finish and quiet alum. A nice way to relax and enjoy some time before hitting the road late tonight on a couple of scheduled pick ups.

Started my day at my Dr. office for annual physical. I'm happy to report that I can still turn my head and cough, apparently my reflexes are working within normal parameters and my heart is still beating. Lab results to come and that's usually where the fun starts. Hope you had a great Tuesday and here's to a wild and wacky Wednesday!!

Tabac Tuesday SOTN

Can someone survive with just Tabac as his one and only everyday shaving soap?? I think one could get by... A wonderful 3 pass shave tonight with the Ikon Deluxe OC and Super Iridium. This blade isn't quitting yet. I'm smooth and feel refreshed and relaxed for bed. I really need to get some Tabac AS to try! Happy shaves all.

I had such a good shave this morning. The Yuma and the Rapira is a great combo for me, (perhaps my best tbh).
The brush is a delight. It shames everything that goes before it.
Palmolive was nice as well. Lovely clean scent and bags of cushion and lather. (The Derby cream is a little nicer to use though)

No A/S burn, nicks or cuts. This is shaving as it should be. (And at what small cost?!)

 

Tabac A/S for the evening shaves?
