    Razor: Timeless Bronze OC
    Blade: Derby Extra (1)
    Brush: WWB Limedrop/TDR Fanchurian V2
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: B&M Reserve Fern
    PAA Galactic witch hazel
    PAA unscented Star Jelly
    AS: B&M Reserve Fern

    Wildcard Wednesday

    Good morning!

Excellent shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Just a tickle from the alum.

It took several shaves but I think I have the Bronze OC dialed in. After spending six days with the Ranger the Bronze Timeless felt heavy. It took a little getting used to. No problems at all with the Derby Extra. Usually they are one and done for me. Maybe they're a good match for this razor or improved technique is making blade choice less relevant.

Awesome lather from the Reserve. No more than twenty second load with a wetter than usual brush works perfectly for me with this soap base. I'm feeling good and smelling good!

    Have a great day! [IMG]

Nice shave Colin, that rocket getting some great play. Try loading the brush heavier, I find that the 2cd pass is better if it's thinner than the first.
    Good luck

Well only 100 posts to get through, I'm certain it will grow before I get back to it.
This morning was another GEM shave.

2 by 2 and a very nice close shave with the G-bar.

    July 24 SOTD:

    Razor: Rocnel Adjustable
    Blade: Rapira PL
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft
    Lather: Wilkinson Sword Shave Bowl
    Aftershave: TSD Floid Blue Type

The only other purchase I made while on the trip was this soap. The scent is very much a Barbershop style scent and is pleasant. The performance is OK. I will reserve judgement for another use or two, but this isn't the slickest soap. The post shave is pretty decent, though. I ended with a nice DFS topped off with some Floid Blue Type. I hope everyone has a great day!
