One razor configuration to go with the Treet Platinum now on fourth go, the Schone plate-Marvel cap, one of my favorite Frankenrazors. Still a great close shave with just a tad of roughness noted. Very pleased with this blade's performance. Down to the nub of the Palmolive Classic stick so I cut up the remainder and pressed it into my remaining Williams pick. Should last the balance of the trip.

Until my 2019 LE30DC brush by Jason @jtspartan and 2019 Stirling 30DC Meet Up Blood on Steel soap and AS arrive I'll withhold judgement. I want to use them together.

I much prefer the look of the teeth if the Schone to the FaTip. And don't mind Treet Platinums either. Even get acceptable shave out of Treet New Steel's

I don't mind waiting for an event. Anticipation helps to build the excitement. Earlier today the brush our Jason @jtspartan crafted arrived. I've been waiting to use the Meet Up soap until I had both here.

As Neal @NCoxSTL noted, it's that tallow lather from Stirling. Beef is good! I like the glycerin, Shea butter, and lanolin, too. The SynBad bulb knot is similar in texture to the Cashmere knot in the '18 LE30DC brush, but the extra density gives it a different feel. So working with a familiar soap base and a deluxe version of a brush I've known lather happened. Glossy, goopy, slumping peaks. Glorious stank too! Discussion of the NEW Gillette had it out already. The Voskhod still has some time to go so it gave it's best. Three passes, the extra cleanup that makes the difference between CCS and how I finished - DFS or better. Good alcohol burn from the AS, so I took a second splash. Yup. Great stuff.
Good shaves Y'all!

 

At around $9-$10/100 they'll be my blade of choice in my more aggressive razors. I love the Schone, just a crazy good razor even at four times its actual price.

I partook in Williams Wednesday today. I didn't add menthol this time, but I should have. I really liked it last time.
The single ring was its awesome self, but the blade was a little tired. I wasn't where I should have been after three passes. The G5 injector was close by and ready, so I grabbed it to finish up. That did the trick.

Thursday Shave: Today was the first time to try Stirlings Electric Sheep and I am impressed. A very close shave but a little bit of irritation, all in an excellent shave.

Razor: Koraat 14 2.0
Strop: Kanayama
Brush: Handle by Jason Omega Pro knot
Pre: Proraso
Soap: Stirling Electric Sheep
AS: Razorock AS, Speick ASB
Scent: Terre de Hermes
