Good afternoon everyone! I'm freshly showered, clean shaven, and ready to take on my minimal tasks today. I love these off days.

I think I forgot to say good morning. But it's noon now. Oh well. Good shave from my slim+red IP combo this morning. What's with all the Red IP bashing lately? I've got 50 or so and I've never had a problem.

not quite noon here... so I will take it as a good morning, and as it is just about noon here, so have a good afternoon as well.

Practice is done, just checking in before going out.

good man...I have the same experience.
however, Jen did send me the rest of her pack, and I only got 1 good shave out of 4 blades, so I can see why some have a bad conception of Red IP's. Of my 50+ of mine, I've had 1 bad blade, but was able to get passable shaves with it. I don't know what the issue is. Quality control? surely some more of mine would have been bad? different vendor? I think we both ordered from WCS. it's perplexing, but I've had nothing but greatness with them, but with that kind of variance, I can see why there are different opinions.
Jen, when I finish your brush and get it to you, I'll open a pack of my Red's, make sure I get a good shave from one of the blades, and send you the rest, if you like. That way if there is a difference other than perception, geography/weather, water quality, etc., we'll know.

Your sheraton went into the mail yesterday.

Quality control issues turned me away from the 7am brand. One blade would be sharp and smooth, and the next would be dull and harsh. I can see why people would have problems with the red IPs if they're having similar issues.

Things are good up here. Weather's dreary but it's still nice outside. We could use some rain to knock all this pollen out of the air.

I got enough of it to get the 4x4 out. Had a guy with a snow plow come over and do it. He even got stuck but he did get a good chunk of it done. I have a lawn mower at work with a big arse snow thrower on it that is getting trailered to my house to finish the job. The sun is out now and the snow is starting to melt so I hope the thrower will chew it up because this stuff is extremely wet.

I am at work right now and we literally have some 10 foot snow drifts. I have some cars that are completely covered. If I find my digi cam I will snap some photos and post them.

Here is a pic of my bro in law in our Komatsu Front ender loader. The cab of the loader is about 20 feet in the air. This snow drift is outside my back door at work.
