    Manaslu M100 honed up on a new coticule last night. I’m not much on cotis but a friend of mine sent me this one, and I took the shave-ready Manaslu and gave it several minutes under running water then finished with a drop or two of dish detergent. No special pressures or anything, basically used it like a synth except for the running water part. I got silent HHT root in or out, so I wondered if I’d removed the jnat edge. Got out the loupe and the bevel scratch pattern looked like a 6k stone, so yep, that’s a coti edge! The shave was incredibly smooth. There was a bit of stubble left bs a jnat edge, but the stone isn’t burnished, I haven’t learned it yet, and maybe I can use more pressure. It’s the first coti that has my attention, lol.

    Soap was. DC fougere lathered with a M&F Alibaba Finest, and a splash of Myrsol AB finished off a truly interesting shave.
