And now.......it's time for.........the FRIDAY FILES: -I'm still trying to hunt up that Williams video of the kid saying he doesn't like Williams(Course he doesn't spend the WHOLE video saying that, chuk yuk yuk) -I've never gone through an ENTIRE shave soap before flipping it. It's time to focus on those I REALLY like-then I won't have to do it again. -I'm a little annoyed with RiseGrooming.com. Why. Because at this time, I can't find a single Rise product being sold on the site.! They badly need to change their name.....or produce more Rise. -With Barbasol beginning an apparent plan of "Let's move the can down to 7 oz. and see what happens", I think it's time to show them "what happens".....boycott Barbasol until they return to the 11 oz. size. And I say this as one who loves Barbasol. @ilts may have something to say about that, but it may be time to fight fire with fire. -Sometimes as I do a shave with shave soap, I chuckle, as if to say "Are you kidding me?", realizing how smooth my face and neck are getting. I suppose it's kinda like doing a video, but my bathroom is too small to do one. -Clubman's site has been sending me a lot of e-mails about feature deals. Having just bought the shave cream(can), Whiskey Woods A.S. and Country Club shampoo, I'm good for now, but when it gets to be around Christmas time(or perhaps before that), I'll be ready for another Clubman Special Reserve. And with that........see everyone next Friday ))) -
July Focus MWF~~Morris & Forndran~~Boker~~Floïd I have been fairly successful focussing on straights this month. When you shave daily and you rotate though your stock, it becomes quite apparent which edges need more than stropping. I really need to move Dr. Mrs. Primo into the guest bathroom, so I can take over her side with my honing gear. JK sweetie-pie. By now most of you know this MWF has been cured with Captain Black Pipe Tobacco and Madagascar Vanilla Bean. This process is mos def© (CHARLIE!!!!) a redo once depleted. Normally, I take a stiffer brush to the MWF, but with a decent blooming, the Beehive did not have any problems loading enough product. After face-lathering, I massage the lather into my skin to get rid of the excess air bubbles. This Boker is not the prettiest filly (oh, how I wish I had a "Filly" straight ) in the stable however, it gets the job done. One of these days I am going to get these blasted pins tightened. Floïd Blue...yummy, manly, discontinued (who makes these decisions???) completed Friday's shave.
Fair enough, Joseph. Please send all invoices to Cartel World HQ in St. Louis. Our payment terms are net 60 days. Wire payments sometime require a couple of extra days due to Ruble/USD currency conversions. A notable exception is payment in Confederate Notes, but that only applies to invoices from @Hembree. While I have your attention, kind sir: I am currently researching the implications of referring to oneself in the third person. More to come. I hope all is well, my friend. Thank you for putting up with my silly humor. Have a fantastic weekend.
No, senility and dementia haven't gone that far yet. This razor is the "haunted razor" that Adam @Drygulch dared me to acquire. The people who had it claimed the name of the person (entity?, spirit?) possessing the razor was Matthew.
Agreed, Paul. If I want to have the best laugh, I just look in the mirror. I hope you continue to feel better, my friend.

Who is this Jim you speak of? I know, too many names around here sometimes and it's tough to keep them straight, or just type the right one.
Thanks Charlie....I had a tiny scare the other day, but it was nothing like what happened earlier. I just made sure to sit down, relax, then drink some water.
