I am sure the difference in shaves will be negligible. Hope everything is settled with your dad, my friend.
Awesome set up Bruce. Really like the design on that razor handle! And yes to the same on Jason's work for the 30DC LE v2 brush. It is very nice, comfortable and the SynBad knot is awesome as well. While not completely changing my mind on a synthetic knot, it is by far the best I've used. Know those moments too well Danny. You are a great son to be doing everything you are doing!
Ok guys, now I am finally caught up! I just wanted to say that I usually don't buy a razor unless it is something that I want, shave ready and the price warrants it. As you know, I have a nice, diverse and modest collection of straights. There are only 3 razors that I want to add and today I bought one of the three. I bought a shave ready, 6/8 round point, full hollow Thiers-Issard Spartacus with black acrylic scales from Maggard razors for $99. I usually get my used or NOS razors on Ebay, but for some reason I was on Maggards just to browse. I was going back and forth on buying this razor for awhile. I said to myself,"If I bought this razor new it would be about 145 or more. Moreover, TI razors do not come shave ready so I would have to sharpen it. Therefore, purchasing it was a no brainer because you don't get a TI used or new that is shave ready and in excellent condition for $99. Hopefully, I will get it some time by the end of next week.
Very neat setup Robert. Finishing a tub, awesome....time to go shopping! Can't wait to see it Joe. A TI has been on my search list.....but between a No Buy July and not quite finding 'The One' yet....it may be awhile.
An Enders shave this morning, using a fairly mild setting. I prefer a more aggressive setting but no problems here. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
