Bob Quinn does great work. He made a brush up for the Three Amigos with an Envy White knot which is amazing.

Yes, it’s a white Arkie, very hard. I do use mineral oil on it and generally do 50 x-strokes, about 10 or 15 circle laps, and another 50 x-strokes. Depending on what I see when I look at the edge under the loupe, I may do so more and may focus on a particular area with some short back and forth strokes or small circles.

But honestly, for me, it’s always a bit of an experiment and YMMV. :happy088:

    Saturday SOTD

Upped the aggressiveness to the 3 dot plate today and did two full passes with minimal touch up for a fine shave indeed. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and is out enjoying the weather. I'll be at the hospital as per normal .

The Dammo rounded off my five day spree of 1912s very nicely. Aided by the marvelous MWF and a new Pal blade. Excellent!
    Happy Shaving one and all.
