    Soap - Tabac
    Brush - Jayaruh #54
    Post - Alum

    I skipped Monday and landed on Tabac Tuesday! Next to last day of the month and I used the Feather DX w/ Pro blade again to take down two days growth. The JR54 and Tabac were perfect as always and two passes and some touch up brought a very near BBS to the result. Hard to beat the combination. Nice way to approach the end of the month.

    Speaking of the end of the month - that means we need an August thread doesn't it. Fear not, fellow enthusiasts of sharp steel, it will be along shortly. Have a great night and a better tomorrow!!

    20190730_183526 (2).jpg hello fello shavers tuesday shave..new tech hybrid with the solid fluted handle..gillette platinum blade, opal f200,the captain's bowl and murphy and mcneil delivered a slick smooth dfs+ shave in 3 drama free passes.. m and m splash to finish..awesome shave..have a great wednesday everyone..

    Thanks Terry! Maggards did a slight restoration on it and they were selling it shave ready for $99. Obviously, it was used, but you can't get this razor for less than $150 new. Thiers Issard razors are excellent razors. Of the 11 sraight razors that I own, 3 were new. I am frugal, but that doesn't mean I buy garbage. I have a nice diverse collection and I really don't need to buy any more straights. With that said, the only straights that I would like to add is a Spanish Filarmonica and 1 custom straight ($$$). If I don't get these 2 razors to add, then I am fine with it because I have enough toys with my 11 straights, 7 safeties and my Dovo shavette to keep me from getting bored. Lol! Oh, someone gave me a Joseph Elliott straight but it isn't worth restoring.
