I had a good day at he range; a very long practice, in preparation for the Senior Games on Sunday. (This is open to athletes aged 50 & up.)
Ahh, great, we're talkinabout Senior Citizen life. I'm going to be reading more into my Medicare 4 Dummies book. It sounds silly, perhaps, but these Dummies books are quite good. Then some errands later. I'm 62, never too early to study this.
50 became Senior when I learned you can qualify for AARP at 50+. They didn't waste time on me, they called me to sign up when I was STILL 49.
Hi folks Back from the senior games, where I shot 732/900. This is far from my best, but the last time I did this, I wasn’t aiming through cataracts & floaters, so I won’t beat my self up over the score. The people were nice & I had a good time. The number of entrants was unusually low this year; just 11. A couple didn’t show, so we were 8 seniors and one señora. I was, yet again, unopposed in my shooting class, so I am still a Senior Olympic champion.
Congrats Sara! A "floater" must be what the 3-Stooges kept doing when they tried it(Recall, the sound of a badly tuned guitar).
I got bored today, so I started it make up a database of all the stuffed animals that have taken over our home. So far, I am in th 40’s and I haven’t even finished counting the ones in the living room.
I'm not sure that I could ever be that bored, but you go girl! (We'll need that TPS organized by name and species by Monday. )
At the gym someone put up that exact same sign, although it said "If you could return the dumbells after you use them................................" I thought that was funny, but classy.
Yesterday(Thursday)ended with a BANG, literally. As I was cleaning excess soap off the sides of my soap-holder at my bathroom sink, suddenly it fell out of place and onto the sink. Landlord has been informed and will be by probably next week. I can prop it up at an angle for the time being.
I finished my Stuffed Animal Database. There are 147 of them and I could remember all but 3 of their names.
