    My favorite brush has an Omega 10098 pro knot, my second favorite has a 10066 knot in it. Omegas are my favorite, even if they take three months to fully break in.

    Things were hitting the fan when I left Thursday. There was talk of forcing through the weekend. I stood my ground and told them I'd be back to work on Tuesday. I don't know what I'm going to walk into.

    August 6 SOTD:

    Razor: Parker Variant
    Blade: Gillette Nacet
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft
    Lather: PAA Future Fiction
    Aftershave: PAA Future Fiction

    It was a nice, smooth shave this morning with some Future Fiction and the Variant. Two passes and DFS. A little matching AS finished this shave perfectly, and my day in is off to a great start. I hope everyone has a great day!

    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Schick Plus Platinum
    Razor: PAL Adjustable
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
    Soap: Soap Commander 13A▲
    Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave

    Nice shave with the PAL Adjustable. I'm going to use it the next couple of days and change the settings. Today the setting was L, which actually looks to expose the most blade gap. It's a little odd. The 13A▲ soap should be done by Thursday. I'm using the Kong all week to try and finish it off.
