Rick, if you're looking at Invicta and like the look of diver watches, check out the 8926. It comes in different variants and is a great mechanical watch for the money. This model uses a workhorse Seiko movement. I had a stainless Invicta diver with the coin edge bezel a few years ago and liked it. The models with the scalloped bezel are bit less expensive. You can find them for $75 to $100.

Sounds like you could have things stacked up when you return. Good luck.

Great looking shave and photo Jim. I am rediscovering the pleasure of using a shave stick. In many ways they are so much easier to use.

I really just don't want to work today. Nothing work but me just being lazy. Sadly that is not going to cut it so I needed to get ready. I overloaded the little badger and was rewarded with enough rich slick lather for 3 passes and some to spare. A three pass shave and minimal touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. A splash of witch hazel with menthol followed by Guerlain Habit Rouge EdT and I am as ready as I will ever be. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Turns out the parts needed to make the repair weren't in stock. The compressor is in the same condition as when I left.

I typically see good results with Back to School watch enabling. Keep buying, gents. My hits...er...scores...are due at Cartel World HQ by the 15th.

    Proraso PS Red
    ARKO SS
    Semogue OC Cherry Boar
    ABCo Straight
    Cella AS Lotion

3 pass DFS-. No shenanigans, weepers, etc. Had to work for this one a bit....Arko is not very slick (IMO), and applied Proraso PS in between every pass. Skin feel after a blade swipe is way too squeaky clean for me, absolutely no buffing with this shave soap. The Semogue did it's job, and created a bunch of lather that was easy to rinse off the blade (so it wasn't tooooo thick), and enough for 3+ passes. I will say that while the Arko rinsed away clean....it does leave a white film on everything. Finished off with the Cella AS Lotion. Nice skin feel now, and to my nose it's a clean smelling match in aroma.

Pressed for time again....so, Thank You one and all for the great comments directed my way yesterday. And....everyone who replied about using an Omega 10098, must've gone out and bought one on Amazon, or enabled all the 30DC lurkers to do the same. Amazon now a week out for being back in stock (ordered anyway). I've also looked at various Zenith boar brushes (have one to sacrifice, not sure if I want to). There aren't many options for boar knots in the 27mm knot size. Found the Omega and Zenith that size, but if you've run across another brand.....appreciate any info.

Hope everyone has a Terrific Tuesday!

Thankfully, Piggly Wiggly security works with the local police to maintain order. This was the scene last week during @Paul Turner's shopping trip. This was just the overflow from Aisle 12!!!! Of course, you'll always see larger crowds on Senior Tuesday...and this definitely plays into Paul's strategy.
