    Thank you, Terry.

I bloom it in about a 1/4" of water in my shave bowl. Transfer the bloom water to the cup I soak my brush in. Rub the moistened puck on the bottom of the lather bowl then load my brush off the puck till it won't take no more. Build my lather in the bowl using the reserved bloom water. A lot of soap is what works for me with my water and environment. Williams and Mitchell's are the only soaps I bloom. I could probably get by without blooming but why mess with success.

Same stuff, just packaged differently. These products are mos def (non-copyright use approved by the Cartel; 07Aug2019) marketed to everyone...the masses, Opera Singers, so on and so forth, etc., et. al. :happy088:

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Schick Plus Platinum
    Razor: PAL Adjustable
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
    Soap: Soap Commander 13A▲
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill aftershave

Nice shave this morning. I have to work a little harder with the PAL injector because the angle isn't as intuitive. Good results in the end. The titanic attempt on the soap is still going. I was thinking it would be done by tomorrow, but that looks to be incorrect. I'll see it through to the end.

    Enjoy your day!

    Well good morning all.
Using my newly aquried razor, the Vikings Blades Crusader, I got a nice shave.
Started out with Williams and different water. Still didn't get the nice lather I like. So after 2 passes with 2 Feather blades I got a good shave. I have decided that the Williams is not a good soap for a head shave. I got out the Arko and lathered up the gord. 2 passes with the Feathers left over from the face shave. I got a nick on the head, left front, not bad, but there it is. I wasn't paying attention for that split second, that will teach ya. This razor reminds me of a Gillette 195 FatBoy, with a long handle. Had to do a little clean up on the neck, used the Arko for that.
Like the razor, it does a fine job, a little heavy for my tastes, but nice.

1 razor, 1 brush, 2 soaps, 2 blades, 2 passes, and some cool Stirling, that about sums it up for today's shave.
    To all
    Enjoy

Love the photo Perry. When the soaps are near the end, it seems to take much longer to finish. At least that has been my experience.

Great photo Terry. If you use the razor for a couple of weeks, you'll wonder why all the other razors are so light. ;)

Being somewhat impatient, I decided to change my plans for the week and pull out the new Thäter synthetic brush. With Perry's comments about Speick shaving cream in mind, I went with it for the maiden voyage. This new brush is stiff and a little difficult to splay. The same is true of new CH2 synthetics. Once splayed the brush turned into a lather making machine. I will use it the next couple of days with soaps loaded off the puck which I hope helps to loosen up then knot. Three passes and touch ups along my jawline just missed the baby. I should have buffed my lower right neck. A splash of Balsamica and I am off to my office. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
