I refilled 2 bottles of PSO (one lavender-mint and one just lavender) and made a puck of lavender shave soap for my husband’s shave bowl.

I took my two girls, 19 and 13, to Six Flags over Texas, yesterday, along with their cousins. these were twin 13 yr old girls and their 15 yr old brother. From opening until closing. I'm fine this mkrning, but the kids are still wiped out. They just can't hang with the old guy. Haaa. I might be 55, but I can run circle around most any teenager.

 

Old people rule.

 

Replaced the second window regulator in my aging BMW. Gotta love how brittle plastic gets after 22 years!!! Took forever trying to keep things from breaking. The cool part was that I managed to get the door panel off without breaking a single clip (other parts didn't fair too well).

Took a domestic airline flight. What should have been a six hour journey took twelve. I was kind and cordial to everyone and didn't groan once (well, not audibly at least), and with few exceptions I noticed neither did most other travelers in my same circumstance. People should get a medal every time they fly.

 

Cheaper than buying a new one.

I'm going for an interview for a position that's typically looked at as a young mans job. My field of choice and schooling is environmental geology; unfortunately it can often feel like a youth convention. Meaning if your over forty people look at you thinking "what's this old man doing here". I'll be turning 51 in body in a few days, and feel it would be better for me to keep active in this line of work. I really enjoy the work, being outside, and meeting people from all over the world.

Please pray for me, that I'd be on the path that God desires for me and that I bring glory to Him.

 

Hope you can get that job, experience should come first.
At 51 you are still young, I know I'll be 77 this month.

The interview was an hour and a quarter long, include data interpretation and changed from an environmental scientist position to a environmental site coordinator.

Now I'm dealing with "did I say too much or too little" ..... I just have to remember it's God that gives and not man.

They said they would make a decision by early to mid week next week.
