    A :whacky024: shaver on another forum :scared003: was having trouble lathering MWF.
    I gave him my best advice and decided to practice what I had just preached.
    Bloomed the soap while showering; chose the CH2 synthetic and went to work.
    Got a good load on and went to the face. Worked it in thoroughly and, as I had described, the soap
    was rather sticky and dry-ish. Gingerly, I added H2O to the brush and continued my quest
    for the perfect lather.
    I was rather successful, if I may say, and the resulting product was stable, thick (enough) and very slick.
    I have to, as Keith says, put this razor in the "to be refreshed" drawer, along with yesterday's Dovo.
    Got a good shave, but needed to many strokes to remove all of the hair. This, as we all know,
    can lead to skin irritation, but luckily, that was not the case this morning.
    Threw caution to the wind and forwent the usual Alum/Thayer's combination, an went
    straight to the Czech & Speake Cuba AS.
    My decision was rewarded with a nice "tingle", but this is great juice, so went that
    subsided, I was left with a wonderfully nourished, smooth skin.

    All in all, a very close and refreshing shave.    ​

    Good morning guys!
    Straight razor shave #96
    I decided to bring out another big blade today to combat my 48 hour stubble. I chose my 7/8 J A Henckels Friodur. My Rocky brush whipped up a nice Stirling lather. The Coconut Lime is a wonderful scent, but doesn't stick around while shaving. I got nice shave with this quality razor, but I am not surprised because it is very sharp.
