Let's just say, after my experience with Clubman I don't want to be chosen for the Veg.

 

I recently purchased a really nice set of microfiber towels for cleaning the car. My Bride saw them and immediately took possession of them for kitchen and bathroom duty. I purchased a second set for the garage. They're hard to beat.

 

I learned everything I know from the movies...

 

And now....it's time for......The FaaaaaaaRIDAY FILES.

-I notice that Jeeves of Hudson has done what Bill Neumann Soaps did previously....offer a reduction in soap size. (Actually, with Jeeves, it isn't an offer, I believe they ALL are reduced). It's just one of those "Do the Math" things. If I recall correctly , a 4 oz. Bill Neumann is $18, whereas the half-pounder is $28.

-It's interesting how some of the great(IMO)aftershaves or colognes have been called cat p by some wives or girlfriends of the wearers, and yet others wives&girlfriends forbid their wearers to go out in public, for fear it'll be too attractive to other women.

-For you Stoylin fans out there(and I am one of 'em)-we note that there is an extra Tony Award nominating day this year-it's up to 5. As with the expansion we see with sports leagues, it may expand again next year. 6 nominations will be an average of 1 every 2 months.

-I still haven't decided on doing a NB 21. That decision may not be finalized until Dec 31, 2020.

Paul, last night's broadcast was a let down when I decoded the secret message as BE SURE TO USE CLUBMAN.

 

I don't text while driving-I only have 2 hands.

 

He might have been using the phone as a GPS. I am guilty of using my Garmin GPS while riding the motorcycle.

The microfiber towels work great on the car itself, windshields, razors and brushes.

 

LOL....I was a glasses-wearing lefty at that age, thus that could have been me. Yep, those Clubman ads in 1966 were great! (Course I never would have said "For cryin' out loud" and especially, ....wellll....the last thing he said.

 

On a motorcycle, how do you manage to hear the lady say "Drive 1/4 mile and take the next left"(or whatever she would say).

Happy Friday. What a week. Crazy morning her in the household. Maya is packing up to go back to Lexington. She knew this day was coming all summer but its not done yet. Oh well I am bad about putting things off as well. My wife and Maya will be leaving to for Lexington around 10 am or so. At least I will miss the last minute drama. Now onto the shave. I used the Thater synthetic to load the B&M Bay Rum like I both the brush and soap owed money and were past due. I am trying to loosen up the knot a little on the brush. I noticed that the brush was much easier to splay today. Three passes, touch ups and buffing my neck ended in a perfect BBS shave. A splash of CC Bay Rum and I am going to try to escape the drama here at home. I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday.

 

I have a bluetooth receiver and speakers in my helmet. It allows me to use make and receive phone calls, use Siri and hear the GPS. The receiver also allows 2 way communication between motorcycles up to a mile away if they are using a receiver paired to yours. When I was riding 500 miles or more a day just having music is a big plus.

 

Right, I figured there's be new ways to work GPS' by now.
