Now you got me confused. Lol! When I pointed out Jupiter on your other pic you said it was the moon. I was shaking my head because it was too small to be the moon. Now, your sayinv Jupiter in this pic was in the same spot as the previous pic. I did teach Earth Science for a few months so I thought I lost my touch. Lol! Oh well! Sometimes, wires can get crossed.

    AoS Sandalwood~~Morris & Forndran Polo 2~~1958 D3 Gillette Adjustable~~Personna 74

After yesterday's chin-beating, I backed off and grabbed my D3 Fatboy.
Loaded a well-used Personna 74 blade, set the razor to 5 and worked on my lather.
What a scent the AoS Sandalwood is. You may notice that these products are the original,
before AoS mucked them up with a re-formulation.
The M&F Polo 2, with a luxurious finest badger knot was up to the task and
built a terrific lather and applied it gently to my skin.
The Tungsten Personna 74 still has some serious life in it, as the shave was super-smooth and
    wondrously effortless.
WTG pass, followed by a combination XTG/ATG pass left my skin dolphin-smooth.
Post-shave with the ASG/ASB nourished my skin and enhanced the soap's scent.
    First-rate shave.

For our school district, statistics exist....they always mentioned having one of the lowest death rates in the state for the 16-18 year old age group. That being said....I just dug around their website. They are canceling the driving school options. 2019-2020 (this school year) is the last year of that class offering. Students after this will have to use the commercial vendor options, or parents have to go the 'Texas DMV approved' instructor route. Costs of maintaining the vehicle fleet is mentioned.

Texas does have two rather unique/unusual laws. Too early to go digging around the TX DMV website (and don't want to again)....but paraphrasing knowledge after researching all this much earlier this year: Anyone 15-18 (every learner's permit or provisional license, IOW) is prohibited from having a cell phone in their hand, while in a vehicle and driving. This was added in Sept. 2018 with our state wide change of driving/texting laws. Also, anyone with a provisional license and driving, can only have 1 minor in that vehicle, if there are no adults in the vehicle. So, in our case, my oldest (currently 16, 17 in a month) can drive our youngest (15) to school or around on errands, but they couldn't add another minor as a passenger.

One thing is immediately changed after her first driving lesson last night and is worth the $$$. The 'lane placement awareness' concept that both wifey and I have been trying to instill for ~15 hours of driving practice...FIXED. She had been getting better, but that whole...in one ear and out the other teenage parent filter, was perfected INSTANTLY (and likely forever) when the instructor grabbed the steering wheel to put the vehicle centered in the lane while she was driving. Priceless.

No. The original stinks bad enough to gag the dead. No need to even try the Veg.

Great photo and shave report Joseph. I never tried the vintage AOS sandalwood cream but I love the scent of the current offering.

Most of the driving instructions provided by the schools were canceled years ago in metro Atlanta. They talked about the costs of fleet as well. My guess was the the liability exposure. We have similar rules about minors in the car as well as curfew on driving. Hands free cell phone is a state wide law for all drivers now.

Wild West Brush Works 2 band badger
    Hüsgen & ERN 'High Class'
    Proraso AS Balm Blue

2.5 pass DFS+ today. The Hüsgen & ERN 6/8 full hollow saw light 12k Shapton honing and CrOx linen/leather stropping a couple weeks ago when I refreshed a handful of razors. Stropped before use this morning, and it is now my smoothest shaving full hollow. Very audible for every swipe. The MWF and WWB 2 band made a great lather, slick, creamy and a nice clean aroma. As many have said, MWF could be used everyday for every type of shaving (but, where's the fougère/sandalwood/bay rum/barbershop/lime/etc. aroma fun doing that?). Finished off with Proraso AS Balm, and a spritz of Nautica Competition cologne.

Hope everyone has a Fantastic Friday and weekend!
