August 2019 30 Day Rule/Focus Pix & Discussion

I know when I was two, my folks drove from Montana to Arizona with me in a box in the bench seat in the front. My Dad has an 82 Ranger, and he made bedsides out sheets of plywood to transport livestock and kids. I have a lot of fond memories of me, my siblings, and my cousins all getting slammed around in the box when my dad hit the brakes. Pretty sure that is child abuse now.

 

Heck yeah! It was a treat to ride in the back of the truck. Not at all uncommon back then. I don't remember the last time I've seen anyone riding in a truck bed.

Saturday Shave: This razor is fresh of a CrOx refresh, it is good enough to shave with but still not an optimal level. Had a nice shave but this one is going into the needs to be refreshed drawer.

I got my shots last week.... you call I hall.

 

No car seats that I recall, either. Open drinks sat on the seat between your knees. You could pop the cap off a Coke bottle using the door hinge on a Ford truck. Seat belts were neatly tucked behind or under the seat. The a/c was operated by rolling the windows up or down or using the "wing" windows. Seats were heated only in the summer. The radio picked up all the AM stations and both kinds of music - Country and Western.
