Thanks, Jim. I have had that product in my cart on numerous occasions, but have never been able to pull the trigger.

Love me some Bay Rum, Fuzzy. I have had the Krampert's soap/AS, but had to sell it, because the soap would light my face up. That won't do in Primo's den. :rolleyes005:

At the bbq restaurants here garlic is served raw and you dip in a spicy soybean paste. Alternatively you can fry it in sesame oil. I like it both ways.

Good luck on the job front.

Great shave this morning with a razor that is new to me. Clint @clint64 PIFed this nice 34c to me while back and a really appreciate his generousity. In honor of his generousity and I know how much he loves Pinaud I decided to turn this shave into a Pinaud shave. The shave soap does a great job and can hang with the best out there. No weepers or nicks and finished with Clubman stank. Y'all have a great day and thanks Clint! I am behind on the post and I'll try to get caught up today.

    Good morning!

Excellent shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Software inspired by Jim @Norcalnewb and Mark @Boojum1. Gondolier is a wonderful scent!

A bit of a rough start this morning. Up early as usual. Decided waffles sounded good for breakfast. The lower heating element of the waffle maker quit. The waffles were only cooked on one side. I was able to salvage them by flipping them over. Overcooked on one side, undercooked on the other but edible. While messing with the waffle maker my morning coffee was overflowing onto the countertop. Aaargh! My fault, I didn't install the filter basket completely. First world problems to be sure, frustrating nonetheless. A great shave saved the morning.

    Have a fantastic Sunday! [IMG]

Shulton Old Spice~~Morris & Forndran Victorian 2~~Dovo 91~~Old Spice Lime AS
Some Shulton shaves today inspired me to use similar products.
The vintage tallow Old Spice ranks right up there with the vintage Yardley, AoS,
    Figaro and Williams soaps.
This puck still have some nice scent and anyone who have ever tried it, knows how wonderful the lather is.
The Old Spice mugs are a tad narrow, so choosing the Morris & Forndran was a no-brainer.
Still a little "clinking" when loading, but not too bad. Built the lather on the face
and the OS isn't shy when it comes to mating with H2O. :sexe:
Went for a fuller lather...not quite butter cream, but no the thinnish lather many SR users prefer.
    Very slick. :happy088:
WTG pass was uneventful until I nicked a healing spot on my chin. Remember the "chin wars" from
a few days ago? Well, this spot was almost healed, until this morning.
Oh well, not too much blood, but mos def© some red corpuscles were ever-present.
Performed a pretty good XTG pass without drawing more blood.
Cleaned up the chin and while there may be a tiny bit of scratchy spots, a DFS was achieved.
    Cracked Alum :angry019: was silent.
    Thayer's too.
Nice bit of sting from the OS Lime. Good juice, indeed.

Despite the re-nicked chin, it was a nice shave. I always liked the decorative spine on the 91. Your brush is beautiful, but that's too tall for me. Have a marvelous Sunday, Joseph!

Thanks, Jim! It is one of my favorites! I use a healthy organic grain bread. Sometimes, I use plain old rye! I never have wicked white bread in the house.
