So today, I used a few things I knew would be keepers, and others I wasn't sure about. I will be keeping the soap, and the razor. (Anyone after me wants a sample, let me know) The brush and aftershave will go back, and I'm still undecided about the bowl. Will have more to report on Sunday, and will get the box out to the next person on Wednesday ( hopefully if the newborn cooperates)
I'm pretty sure @RyX wants a sample of the Crabtree & Evelyn. I tried the Aramis and it wasn't for me either.
Yes, please? Sometimes I forget the question, but the answer is... If you could cut me a slice sufficient to get a couple of lathers I would much appreciate it! Currently I have Col Conk glycerin lime that serves well as a preshave soap to RazoRock WTP Lime Burst (highly recommended for low price/great triple milled Italian quality).
@RyX will do. Is the scent on the WTP actual limes? Or a candied lime like the Col Conk? I used my tin of razorock essential oil of lime, and to me that one smelled more of key West key limes.
To me it had an unmistakable aroma, but I'm not able to place it. Also, tonight I will be able to get into the box a bit more and see what leaked. Didn't have time last night.
Ok, I have made my selections. I'll post an update on Wednesday, and then get the box packed and shiped out, hopefully that same day. Please bear with me though, the newborn is the one that runs the show. Whoever is after me send me a PM,with shipping info please. Also, anyone down the line that wants samples let me know also, I'll start cutting them tonight.
Been there, did that four times. It gets easier, especially if she breast feeds. Take your time and mail out at your convenience. I'll arrange a special sniffing of those two soaps and three AS (Pinaud Lime Sec & Citrus Musk, and Royall Lyme, along with a comparison of actual lime essential oil for a baseline comparison.
I find there are 2 lines of like scent. Candied and natural. They fall on opposite ends of the spectrum.
I'm next in line & been in communication with Aaron @ordinaryshaver. His son needed medical care on his last day off - Wednesday last week. I told him no worries. Got to take care of Real Life stuff first.
Putting the finishing touches on the box, gonna get it shipped out today. Again, I apologise about the delay..... But the little man got sick, and I couldn't avoid it. Thanks for understanding.
