Fun shave. The vintage blade was rougher then a modern blade but the finished shave was not that bad.

Great shave, Sergio. I found the Arlington to be a very close scent to the 4711 as well. Had to sell it, because it reminded me of the wipes you get after a messy spare rib meal.

Coate’s Almond Cream today. 10 seconds to load the Honey Farm Designs/TGN Premium Silvertip brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna Med Prep still in the Gillette NEW LC. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Bulgari Blu aftershave.

The regular MITA soap I used yesterday is pretty cold but this Glacial version which came out around three years ago is another story - it has three times as much menthol in it so it’s a bona fide face freezer. The scent is the same, the lather is just as rich, but perhaps even a bit slicker than the regular one, and God help anyone who can’t tolerate intense menthol because the freeze pummels your face immediately and gets stronger with each pass. The Glacial Unscented balm is also plenty cold as well as soothing and very moisturizing. The Arctique aftershave smells lovely but it never interferes with any fragrance, and it’s lethally cold, yet it feels so good on the skin. The new Shark blade from Egypt helped to give me an awesome three pass BBS shave!
