woah...I read that too fast.... :happy102

OK, not being a farmer and more of a city boy, are they white or red? Don't the white chickens lay the brown eggs, and the red chickens lay the white eggs?

EDIT: I see the pic now, thanks for posting it while I was typing... :D one step ahead of me, aren't ya.... you must be the bunny's accomplice!

Got it backwards bro. White hens lay white eggs. The brown eggs come from red feathered hens.

Cochins lay light brown eggs. You are thinking of white leghorn breed...white eggs, and rhode island reds...brown eggs. The color of a bird doesn't indicate egg color, breed does. My white Cochins lay the same brown colored eggs as the black, blue or partridge colored hens.

Hey Jen, did I see you say you aced your socialogy test without going to class? Excellent.

Wife just went to local college today to take their pre-screening test and to enroll in some classes for the fall. She had a choice of intro to psychology or intro to sociology. I guess with all our experience with daughter she chose psychology over sociology.

Thanks :) I did read through all the book chapters and go through the notes he used in class while studying. Psych is a lot of fun, I really do enjoy both of them :D I have no idea what I'll do with a psych and soc minor but I still want them.

So are you feeling better yet?

Pam... It just occurred to me that when we were in Wisconsin, my parents had many different breeds of chickens. Is this a Wisconsin thing that I forgot about?

I double majored w/ Soc. being one, but it sort of went hand in hand with my L.E. degree so that's why. I liked soc. classes.
