    Nice shave Chris.
Sorry to hear things are rough.
When it seems like I'm getting the short end, I have a sit. Then I figure out what I've wanted to do for a while that I haven't ever done or haven't done for a long time. Somthing that will take an hour, a day, or a week end, then forget my troubles, and go do whatever it is. Just a break fron the race, we all need it.
I know I do now and again, especially when things are tough.
    Good luck!
    Keep the faith!

Unless I'm mistaken, our Charlie @wristwatchb was the 30DC Member that treated for a round of this soap at a convergence. He retired and I had just joined this crew. Like all of my full tubbed soaps I still haven't reached the bottom of this one, but I know which AS goes with it. I suspect Clint @clint64, who came around the corner to get my address for the soap to be shipped, wrinkled his nose and suggested the barbershop. Ummm, mmm! Good stuff. The lather did very well with that chubby badger knot. A blade of unknown number of uses didn't falter, even got my lower neck where stubborn stubble hides. Good lanolin face feel, no nicks, DFS or better! Capped it off with that smooth powdery scent and great post shave feel of Clubman.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

    Good morning to all.
Using my PAL adjustable with a B-20 blade this morning and got anice shave. I always use a new blade in the razor, this morning was nothing different than yesterday. I changed my angle, and what a difference it makes. This razors doesn't give the blade feel that I'm used to, so I need to adjust by instincts that I don't have for this tool. None the less I figured out the thing and away I went. Got a 2 pass shave on the face with some 3rd pass on the neck, the gord was a 2 pass with some touch up on the top. I'm smooth and clean, again. In my book this razor would qualify as a mild or less efficient razor. Even using B-20 blades on the most efficient setting, it's still a kitten.
Got wanting some bay rum so I pulled out the Stirling for a good splash of man sent. The Arko was not as creamy and thick this morning with my Perfecto brush, but still worked fine.

Gonna use this razor a few days to get a good feel for it before I grab my newly aquried Gillette 195 FatBoy.
    To all
    Enjoy

    Thanks, gents.
Now, if I could whizz around my face with my 2011 R41, that would be a feat!

Nice gear, Keith. How does 2/8 wider blade make a difference? It's the edge that shaves, right?

Thanks, Terry. My motto used to be if I didn't have time for a leisurely shave, I wouldn't shave...maybe I need a new motto...:signs002:

Grab 100 Feathers and 100 Personnas, Neal. It will add global variety to your den and put you north of 3000 blades. It would ease our minds to know you're slightly above the critical re-stocking point.

I'd love to see videos of passenger reactions when you turn around, smile with a glassy-eyed stare, your BBS gourd and Russian watch catching glints of sunlight, and announce that you have 3000 Russian razor blades in anticipation of the shave apocalypse. At that point, you could click the door lock button for dramatic effect. That would give provide an up close and personal passenger experience with Dr. Strangelove...and some nice reviews on Yelp.

Once I was able to shave well and painless, it seemed there is no other way.
Now there is value in a good clean, smooth shave.
So even a quick once over is better than nothing.

    Good morning!

Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Just a whisper from the alum.

Stirling lather and wonderful scent! Haverford is a newfound favorite! Thanks again, Andrew @Linuxguile.

Starting twelve hour shifts today. Curious to see how long they last. Could be a couple of days or a couple of months. We're normally a nine man crew. Down to four right now. One of the guys was sick yesterday so just three of us. Three emergency jobs kept us hopping. We shall see what the new day brings.

    Have a great day! [IMG]
