One can mush them Stirling pucks around, if need be. I always mush them into whatever container I use.

I have a new R41 Muhle head on the way in. It popped up on E-bay at a great price...................looking forward to trying this head out on the Weber bulldog handle.

Love the photo Jason. Congrats on nearing the finish on two soaps.

I bet that is true. It is too cold here in the winter. I am not sure I would survive a January trip north.

I hope my oldest gets a decent stipend next year that will offset most of her expenses.

Thank you, Bill! I was remembering my first shave while doing this one. I thought that I was pretty good at first that it spurred me on to continue to move forward. Looking back, there isn't any comparison between my first and my 100th straight razor shave.

Congrats Joe @Trigger! It takes perseverance and courage to do the 100 shave SR program. You'll also be open blade qualified shortly on those shavettes. Journeyman Status!
(Psst - Charlie. Is Joe a "100+ kind of guy"?
I smell a CT in the air. Or someone spilt the Clubman.)

Jedi Robes are in the hall closet, but don't mess with the red head kid's heirlooms. He's a weasel.

    ASW Old Virginia~~Simpson 59~~'47 Super-Speed~~Personna 74
It seems that I have a drawer-full of straights that need refreshing and I simply haven't the
wherewithal to get started, so I am lazily reaching for my remaining DE's.
Once again, the 1947 Super-Speed was called upon for a great shave.
The Old Virginia is truly superb soap and the tobacco scent ranks as one of my favorites.
Loaded up the Simpson 59 and face-lathered the product until lather-nirvana was achieved.
I have long since forgotten how many shaves are on the Personna 74, but this blade
    is still going strong.
2 passes and I caught the baby.

Double-splash of the Old Virginia AS completed a terrific, Tuesday shave.

    Great shave Rick!
Great shave Terry! According to the instructions that came with the PAL Adjustable the settings go from L light to H heavy beard. Maybe try the adjustment on the other end of the dial:

Let me check with the officer. He confiscated a bunch of my stuff. ;)
Aha! That explains why my dentist and his assistant were wearing respirators. I'd call these folks book smart AND street smart!

That's pretty cool, Rick. It's interesting to see sites (and people) in person that you recognize from TV. I remember the first time I saw @NCoxSTL in person. He looked thinner and more dapper than the photo they showed on America's Most Wanted.
Bill, I thought being in detention finally brought you around, but I question it after the recent babysitting ordeal. Come on, man! If you've been following the thread for any length of time, you know that we don't condone painting hardwood floors! :angry032:
    1.jpg
Well, we cleared @Trigger's CT eligibility suspension due to the sordid grade inflation affair. Once he hits 100 shavette shaves and becomes a 100/100 man, do you think he'll even want to hang with the 30DC?

Thanks Rick. I wear an XL Jedi robe. If it's a pullover, gimme a 2X so I can get it over my gourd. Do you have anything that's slightly understated with gold sequins?
