    Thank you, Andrew!
I really like the soap and aftershave. I shave at 4am so it's been eight hours and I'm still catching whiffs of the aftershave.

Here's the watch I've been wearing the past few days. It's as common as hen's teeth. In fact, it may be the world's most mass produced watch along with many other companies that have copied the original design, but it has always been a favorite of mine. My avatar shows the lume on a very similar watch.
Disregard the water spots on the crystal. What do you expect? It's a diver's watch!

I love the history behind it and all the variants of this model that have been manufactured over the years. This video used to have some very cool James Bond music playing in the background, but it was removed.

First rate shave recap and photo Joseph. Is the ASW soap made by Wet Shaving Products?

Engineers hanging around (in the way) trying to figure out what happened
Production supervisor arguing with the maintenance supervisor regarding the amount of time the repair will take
    Temporary SOP's written and approved
    Lockout/tagout completed
Mechanics taking a pre-work break for coffee, smokes, PPE, and tools (in that order)
Equipment prep and walk through with the permit writer
    THEN
    Pulling wrenches and burning rod
    Clear the lockout
    TA DA!
Fire it back up...well, start it back up may be a better term

    Am I close?

    Pretty close, Charlie.
Valves that won't isolate the equipment is a big one and to a lesser extent, access to the equipment. Nobody out here works off of ladders so there is scaffolding everywhere.

Perry, I can identify. If I get too many of anything, it seems overwhelming. I'm a "top 3" or "top 5" kind of guy when it comes to a lot of things. If you had to pick your top 5, what would they be? Likewise, what are your bottom 5? Those two questions have guided me toward what soaps to keep and what to PIF.

Using shave soaps for face washing also helps me use soap faster.

Forgot about those things, Jim. Pretty common in my experience too. I'm glad you're not working on ladders. Scaffolding is much safer, IMO. Be safe and stay hydrated!

Good point, Charlie. My top 5 could be, in any order:

    Mitchell's Wool Fat
    Soap Commander Vision
Stirling Sandpiper (or most of the Stirling)
    Oleo New City
    Jeeves

    Bottom 5:
    Palmolive shave stick
    Wilkinson Sword shave stick
    TSD Iced Barber Shoppe
    Stirling Sharp Dressed Man
    Nivea shaving stick

None of the bottom 5 soaps are bad. They're all good quality but probably ones I don't reach for as much. Looks like I don't care much for shave sticks from that list!

Many MWRS for lapping the valve seats always mucks the systems. Hopefully, lapping seats are machined. Remember, lapping films are used for honing razors and fiber optic repairs. Lol!

    Soap: Jeeves Soaps Turkish Bath
    Cologne: Floid Aftershave
Bowl: Boise Mud Works Olive Bowl

Wonderful brush that easily whipped up a great lather, which helped to provide a near BBS.
