Nice Gary, the older razors do have a certain appeal to them. But the slim can do a great job if treated right. When it comes down to an adjustable razor, your slim is hard to beat, that brush is cool too.

    Adjustable Arko August!!

    August 13

Razor - Qshave (Futur clone) (6)
    Blade - [IMG] (1)
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - BoS Omega 10066
    Post - Alum

Whew! What a day. Started a bit earlier than usual with an absolute pain in the neck customer. My biggest complaint - smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Bad. I had to air out the van after I finally got her shoved out the door in order to keep going. Things settled down a bit after that until mid afternoon when a long ride came in. From STL to Carbondale, IL. That's about 2.5 hours one way. I grabbed it because it's also big money. Funny how Charlie @wristwatchb mentioned seeing me on a wanted poster earlier. I'm pretty sure if you ran a dog with a particular set of skills over the floor on the passenger side he would probably take great interest. Just a suspicion. But, the trip was made, passenger and probable cargo dropped off, I got back on the road and made it home just a bit later than normal. Good money on a rather different day.

I was ready for a great shave and ready to go to the Qshave. This is a beast. Heavy, big, and the maximum 6 on the dial is far gappier than any Gillette ever made. I'm pretty sure it's bigger than the Russian gaps as well. Fresh Voskhod in place, the BoS turned Arko into a skating rink, and two passes with a Gillette Slide finish on the neck brought the baby home. Excellent shave and a great way to relax and get ready to catch up a bit around here. Hope your day was as profitable and....interesting(?) as mine was! Have a great Wednesday!!

thank you Terry, the slim is an awesome razor.its the last all brass gillette every built..the techs and superspeeds were multi metal in 66 onwards..also my birthyear and quarter..m-4 1967..no aristocrats after 66 sadly..it gives fantastic shaves pure and simple..i like the older razors for various reasons..the brush- i won that on a great pif from a fine gent here and our Keith put a flat top badger knot in it..awesome ..:eatdrink047:

Got one of those fat headed things. I can get a great shave with little effort on 6. Does mow down the weeds quickly and pain free. The only thing is that big head gets in the way of hard to get places.
    Nice Neal, very nice.

"We got strict advice about – legal advice about what the rules were and everyone involved knew what the rules were. . . . There was no solicitation..."
There, see? it's OK. Besides as I understand the issue ,"There is no controlling legal authority that says this was in violation of law.". Although that doesn't mean laws weren't broken, but it's not in anyone's jurisdiction. Carry on!
