Repurposing an Avon bottle



It's an Avon Eiffel Tower (stands at about 8") that usually contain Topaz cologne.

Now after a good cleaning it's filled with Aqua Velva.

I have some Tai Winds incoming in a '36 Ford Coupe.

Does anybody care to share any comments on Tai Winds scent?

I will plead ignorance here, but please indulge me. I know this is supposed to be "finds in the wild" but since about 3 years ago, I stopped going to yard sales, estate sales etc, so I live vicariously through this group.
I wanted to be included in the Avon club, but since I couldn't ever find any local to me, I had to jump in this when it arrived. It was from the travel box 2019, and now I have another rabbit hole to chase.

No, I started this thread, a while back, and it isn't for just finds in the wild. It is for all Unique Old Spice, and Avon Aftershaves that are acquired. You can also be redundant. Post pics of stuff you find, even if it has been posted by someone else. All finds of Avon and Shulton Old Spice are welcome.

Aww...shucks. That's an Avon I haven't sniffed yet. Supposed to be one of the better Old Spice dupes.

Does it still have a label? Which scent?

Glad you have been introduced to vintage scents. These are generally low priced alternatives to modern high priced products when found tucked away on your own shelves, or resold after being donated to thrift stores like Goodwill and Salvation Army. Since they tend to high alcohol content they age well. Old Spice only has a few variations, but Avon still does and did make both original and duplicate scents.

That should be Tai Winds.

I had put in 2 Spicy, 1 Tia Winds, 1 Leather and a Wild Country.

Now it's back to find the rest and see which one else I like.

May be a delay on the box, now that I have found this new rabbit hole.

The Box doesn't arrive early or late. It arrives precisely on time. It's a Happening that shouldn't be hurried.

Thursday mail call is a vintage bottle of Avon Legacy from 1988 with the box it came in Completely full.

I need to keep my eye out, for some of that.

Now I have everything for a vintage Spicy Sunday (Found the soAp last weekend in the wild) plus I can get a feel for the Avon scents.

That's a very cool Avon sampler. Never seen it before. I like the Shulton lighthouse, too. One of my favorite odd bottles and the juice is great!
