Sorry to hear about your wife's friend's aunt and the rough night last night. I hope the day goes better than you expect. Great shave and beautiful picture to get things started.

It wouldn't be the first time things were made up about me.

Hopefully all of the last little details will get taken care of shortly.

Wonderful picture, Andrew! Sounds like it is time to treat that soap puck like a shave stick and run it on your face.

    Happy birthday to Declan!

Thank you, Terry! I agree, these are definitely the better value razors of the vintage Gillette adjustables.

Beautiful photo and shave, Andrew! Happy birthday to Declan! Love seeing his pictures on Wednesdays. He looks like a happy dude.

I have Oleo New City and I got it at a shop in Chicago and smelled several of their offerings. I went to buy the New City and noticed that the soap was rattling around in the container. I went back to the shelf and swapped it for one that didn't rattle. I can't stand it when the soap moves around like that when you're loading! It's fairly annoying and makes loading harder.

You might have to take out the puck and grate it back into the container to get it to fit.

Thanks Perry! One thing to note, the soap wasn't like this the last time I used it about two months ago.

    More blades! Good move!

Any idea how many blades you have, Jim? I'm below 2600 blades, and I'm starting to get nervous. I would not make a good Uber driver like @NCoxSTL - not enough blades and too much Japanese steel in the mix. :scared011::scared011::scared011:

This is probably a lifetime supply of blades for me, but it would only be enough to carry @Terry through the 1st of November. Combined gourd and mug maintenance takes a heavy toll on blade consumption. :lyrtuy5:

Happy Birthday Declan. It's hard to believe it has been a year already.

I've not had it happen with Oelo but I have had it happen with are artisan soaps. It serves as a reminder that with most artisan soaps we are buying a lot of water by weight.

Is that a photo of Siberia, Danny? It looks like Alabama as viewed from I-65. :)
Shenanigans are my sweet spot, Danny.
I hope you're doing well, my friend. Give Mom and Dad a hug from me. :)
