Truth is funnier than fiction sometimes.
Maybe I need to start a go-fund-me page for blades.

Wow, that's a lot of bacon.
I haven't been to Michigan for years, last time was when I went to the Henry Ford museum and village with my wife. Took a drive around some places I used live and visit near and in Detroit. Didn't stop anywhere and left town without going to many places. The city has changed a lot since I was there, in a sad way.

    Hey now...
If I only use Feathers it only takes 730 blades a year otherwise I can get by on about 500 or so.
So it could last 5 years.

Most adjustable razors don't change the geometry, just the gap. If you look at them, the entire blade tray assembly moves together so the angle on the blade doesn't change.

It is funny, of all the adjustable razors I own (Fatboy, Slim, Park Variant, Merkur Futur, Injector Type M, and the PAA Ascension) the only one that actually adjusts the angle and blade tension is the Ascension.

There is nothing more fun hanging stuff, Charlie. By the time we get done, my wife usually has one more thing she wants to hang: me.

Is that a sneaky way to get me to buy an Ascension razor? If so, it probably worked.

    Good evening guys!
Dovo shavette shaves #91 and #92
Yes guys, you read it right.

    Rockwell 6C
    Voskhod Blade
    Rockwell Synthetic
    VDH Luxury Soap
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS
Last night, I decided to shave my head after my celebration dinner. I decided to use my Dovo shavette. It's been awhile since I used this razor for this task. Did 2 passes and it was an IBSS, but I got some temple weepers. I decided to clean up with my Rocky 6C to upgrade to a BBS shave. Applied Aqua Velva and it gave me some sting. All in all, it was a nice shave. Sorry, no pic because I wasn't sure if I wanted to credit this shave. However, I did because it is more difficult to headshave than face shave with a shavette. Therefore, I am calling it #91.

    Personna Hairshaper (10)
    Omega Pro 49 Boar
    Proraso Green SS and AS
Ok, I am dedicating this shave to my former barber, Joe M. Except for the shavette, I decided to use my Italian gear. The 49 did a great job lathering the Proraso Green. This is a very light menthol kick, but it is enough to feel it. Did 2.5 passes with very minor touch ups. Did get 2 very miniscule weepers that were hardly noticeable. Joe the Barber would be proud of this irritation free BBS shave. Applied double usual amount of Proraso AS. Why not, I have 2 bottles of it! Lol! Guys, have a great night!

Thanks Perry! I find that shaving my head with a shavette or straight keeps my skills sharp (intended pun).
