I came across a box of an Old Spice Shaving Soap refill at an antique store today...$1.50....opened it up, and saw it was still wrapped in foil....pulled it out and it looked like someone had used it enough to put a divot in the middle then dried it out and wrapped it back up. It was also discoloring around the edges...

I set it back on the shelf.

Hey everyone, just getting back from meeting my folks for antiquing and lunch, and picking up my haul from their trip to England. Erasmic bowl, stick, and cream, Ingrams cream (menthol), and Palmolive cream and stick. All from one Chemist's. niiiiice! :happy088

Also picked up an H4 SS and an O4 LHSA... :D

21's are frequently cracked on the hood. There's a design flaw - if you screw the hood on too tightly, it cracks. Almost impossible to fix reliably and still have it looking reasonably good. 21 Deluxe model (convex clip instead of concave) fixed this. They're pretty nice...

But hey, for five bucks, it's not a bad deal. If you don't care what it looks like, take off the hood, clean it and wipe some epoxy over the crack.

    Cheers,
    Tom

Matt, that complete Rolls in the antique store cost me only $10 and it had a spare strop and looks as though it was never used. Other booths in the same store wanted 35 or more for them. So now I need to condition it..

Hey! I've been around. Just haven't been posting much. I've been busy job hunting and getting other things done for a rally I'm attending in May. :D
